dlsan’s the HyperMacbeth eats Shakespeare alive, reinterpreting the Bard’s most supernatural play as a shifting arrangement of text, color, and animated .gif. A Javascript code randomizes the piece’s layout with each page refresh, potentially offering a way to imagine stage performance translated into digital art. “dlsan” was a randomly generated nickname given to the anonymous Italian artist by his first Internet provider in the late 1990’s.
